I checked all of the parts recommended - tested ok- tested the timer on high heat- tested ok, but when i tested the timer on low heat it failed multi-meter test. Since dryer does work on heat, but not low heat i am assuming the timer needs to be replaced?

My dryer will not cut off. I replaced the fuse in october and now it has stopped running again. I believe it maybe the timer since it never turns off which is why the fuse keeps going out. Please help

Hi Sonya, Thank you for your question. If your dryer is not shutting off, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door switch, the internal bias thermostat, the thermal fuse, the heating element, the thermal cutoff and the high limit thermostat. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Michael, Thank you for the question. if the appliance is acting like it is not getting power I suggest testing the Thermal Fuse, PartSelect Number PS11741460. This thermal fuse is used in dryers as a safety mechanism that stops the flow of electricity to the motor circuit when a dryer overheats. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

I have a Roper dryer with timer model w10436308. The dryer heats up and works good on timed dry settings but will not heat on very dry high heat. I cleaned the contacts in the timer and they all appear to be making contact but on very dry the ca, ch connection does not show continuity. Will a new timer take care of this issue?

Roper dryer works fine on all the cycles but when it gets to cool down it would stay there and won't shut off until i open the door or move the knob to off. When in auto cycle it would not go pass cool down into wrinkle free.
