Would this cause unit to not run by itself i can turn the knob in fridge off and on and it will start compressor

I replaced the start relay that I received from part select and the fridge still does not run. The light comes on but the fan does not run or the compressor. Any ideas? Electrolux fridge

Hello Bill, Thank you for the question. We suggest having the Cold Control Thermostat tested. The thermostat should be Open at 55°F and Close at 20°F. We hope this helps!
