Dryer would not turn on
unplugged dryer, removed screws from top back plates, removed screws from control board unhooked connectors and put them on new board. Put screws back in and plugged dryer in. Dryer turned on and works!

The technician said a circuit board was bad- he said it cost about $500. I need a part number. My original reaction was that i'd buy a new dryer when he said $500. I have friends who will help if i get the part. If you open circuit breaker= it will run for 5 min .

If the dryer is shutting off too soon though, you may want to first consider either the Internal-Bias Thermostat part PS11746740 for your model, or the High Limit Thermostat and Thermal Cut-Off part PS334387.
