Wrong electrical connector.
I bought a new Whirlpool Refrigerator that didn't have an ice maker. I wanted to install an ice maker. I searched your web site and found the model ice maker model it said I needed. WPW10715709. This one was a 4 wire 8 terminal. I needed a 4 wire flat connector. WPW10715708. You approved the return. It cost me $50 to return it. I believe you should refund me the cost of this postage. Your web site gave me the wrong model number.

To know which ice maker will work for your appliance, we will need the model number of the appliance itself. I am wanting to add an ice maker into my freezer. It did not original come with one. Is this the right ice maker and do I need to purchase anything else to complete the install on the refrigerator side, like water valve and waterlines on back of refrigerator? I know I will need to tap into a water source and run a 1/4" waterline to the refrigerator. Thanks.

The 1414/11/18 would be a part number Lowes would use so it does not come up here sorry. I suggest giving them a call and ask them what the manufacture part number is. Is there a adaptor available for ice maker harness to extend and plug in ref. This model has a different plug in, rectangular with 2 wires on each side

Hello Jim, thank you for your question. The only icemaker listed as compatible for your unit is PartSelect Number PS11757273. This includes a rectangular plug on the end of the wire harness. There is no adapter, or other wire harness listed for this appliance. I hope this helps!
