The start button did not work
I turned off the power to the circuit first of all. Next I opened the dishwasher and removed all the screws that were on the inside of the door. This allowed me to lift up slightly and out on the outside of the door (closing it partway) and it came right off. The control board and assembly are all one piece and there is a little white electrical connector that gives it power. There is a part that you have to squeeze to make it unplug. After unplugging it, I removed the screws attaching the part to the dishwasher and could tell that one of the two circuit boards was corroded. Cleaning and reinstalling did not work so I ordered this part and installed the new one. I then reversed the steps to put the dishwasher back together. It is an easy job if you have ever taken something apart. It is easy to remember and identify which screws go where while it is open. I cannot remember the exact number or type of screws inside the dishwasher but I think the ones attaching the control board were philips because I had to change bits at some point. All the ones on the door were torx.

One of the switches on the dishwasher is not working. Does housing ui ps11756842 (#5 part on diagram) include the board with the switches? Do you have instructions on how to replace this assembly? Thank you.
For model number WDT790SAYM3
Hi Tony,
Thank you for your question. The float switch is not included with this control board. The part number for the switch is PS11750031. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to install the main control board. The dishwasher in the video may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. You will find the video under part number PS11748220. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
