My french door refriig is making this humming noise almost like a winding sound , but cools and freezes well . Could this be my evap motor?
For model number WRF757SDEMOO
Hello Jim, thank you for contacting us. It could be the evaporator fan/motor causing that, you can remove the back panel in the freezer to inspect it. Also check the condenser fan on the back of the fridge near the bottom by the compressor. Good luck with the repair!

Freezer isn’t freezing. Thermistor honed out ok and that button clipped on the copper tube was 60 ohms
For model number WRF989SDAH02
Hi Clifton, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest making sure the freezer door is sealing properly. If the issue remains, the problem might be with the evaporator fan motor, part number PS11755853. Checking the evaporator motor for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!
