Replace variable speed pulley assembly
The housing bracket assembly didn't come close to fitting my lawnmower. I took the pulley and bearings out of the replacement one and put them in my old housing. This got me back to mowing, but it took quite awhile to make the switch.

Hi, the ice maker in my fridge quit working. I tried the diagnostic test to see if the ice maker was functioning and it seemed to perform other than dispensing water into the ice maker tray. The water dispenser is working just fine. Is this the part i need, or is there one specific to the ice maker that i need to replace? Thanks.

Hi David, Thank you for your question. If the ice maker is not making ice and you have tested the ice maker and it is working, then the next part to check would be the water inlet valve. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My water and ice maker work, the problem is the water comes out very slow? I checked all the water lines everything is flowing good no kinks in the lines. ??? thanks jim

Hi Jim, thank you for your question. There are two parts that you should check for this issue. The first part to test would be your water inlet valve. The valve has two solenoids that control either the dispenser or the ice maker. Even if your dispenser is working the ice maker solenoid may not be and vise versa. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If that part is testing correctly then you should look into your ice maker being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Ice maker not working. Water in front is. So is there duel water inlet valve or are they on the same one? Because then i can rule that part out. Otherwise, if they are separate, do i look at something else first so i don't have to send it back? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Angelo, Thank you for your question. This part would actually be the water inlet valve specifically for your ice maker. Good luck with your repair.

I just replaced the water value kit, it was cracked. Water is working at the dispenser but the ice maker is not making ice.The ice dispenser pad engages the ice auger . it has been over 72 hours since it was connected. any suggestions??
For model number WRX735SDBM00

Hi Dave, you will want to check a few things. 1 .Refrigerator connected to a water supply and the supply shutoff valve turned on? Connect refrigerator to water supply and turn water shutoff valve fully open. 2. Kink in the water source line? Straighten the water source line. 3.New installation? Flush and fill the water system. See "Water and Ice Dispensers in the manual." 4. Is the water pressure at least 35 psi (241 kPa)? The water pressure to the home determines the flow from the dispenser. See "Water Supply Requirements in the operators manual." 5. Water filter installed on the refrigerator? Remove filter and operate dispenser. If water flow increases, the filter may be clogged or incorrectly installed. Replace filter or reinstall it correctly. 6. Water dispenser measured fill feature is not dispensing an accurate amount of water? Calibrate the water dispenser. See "Water and Ice Dispensers in the operators manual" 7. Refrigerator door closed completely? Close the door firmly. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

My refrigerator stopped making ice and shortly thereafter stopped dispensing water. I replaced the water filter and purchased/installed a replacement water inlet valve (w10312696), but still no water. Water feed to refrigerator was tested, as well. Ideas?

Hi Michelle, Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issues with the Control Board, PartSelect Number PS11750687. You can also check to make sure that the wire harness at the top of the door does not have a loose or broken wire. Hope this helps!

On this Whirlpool fridge, where is the water valve located for the ice maker?
For model number GI6SARXXF04
PartSelect logo
Hello Rich, Thanks for your question. You will need to take the back cardboard panel off of the fridge. Take the copper tubing off that supplies water to the valve, and you will be able to see the valve. I hope this helps.

My Whirlpool ice maker started dripping water into the ice & froze up so I cut it off. The water dispenser on the door still works fine. Is there a separate water inlet value for ice maker & is that what I need to replace or is there more part involved?
For model number GI6SARXXF01
PartSelect logo
Hi Michael. Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issue with the Secondary Water Valve, PartSelect Number PS11752594.Remove the shelves inside the appliance and on the back wall there are slots that you need to insert a flat blade screwdriver into and release the tabs for that panel to come off. Once the panel is removed you will have access to the water valve. Hope this helps!

My water dispenser works properly but the ice machine does not make ice. The machine makes noise as if its rotating but doesn't seem to be getting water. I looked at the back of the unit and the water inlet valve has one for the supply line and one for the water supply from the house. What are my other options to consider.
For model number WRX735SDHZ

Hello Patrick, Thank you for the question. The valve has two sides (may need to remove the back panel to expose the full valve). One for the ice maker and one for the dispenser. If the ice maker is not getting water, the valve is the first part to check. You can also check to see if the filter needs to be changed. The filters should be changed every 6 months. If the water lines are not damaged or clogged going to the ice maker and everything else checks out good, you may have a defective Ice maker. Hope this helps!

How do you separate the water tube fro existing broken valve? The new one seem to have same blue ring with it but no water tube. I pulled on the tube. It does not seem to want to release. Is there a trick? Please advise. Thank you.
For model number Maytag Part W10498990 Water inlet valve
PartSelect logo
Hello Roger, thank you for your question. The valve is a quick connect type of part, where you depress the blue ring then pull the tube out. If the original (broken) valve has the blue ring, depress the ring and pull the tube out. If it will not release, you can cut the tube at the valve (as close as possible to the blue ring). If this will not leave you with enough slack to install the tube into the new valve, you will need to order another water tube to be installed as well. I hope this helps!
