Kitchen aid blender
Correct part arrived. The original part had split at the mounting point for the screw causing the blender to shake while in use. Both mounting points were split. The new part arrived quickly. The part number was superseded, possibly an upgrade in plastic quality.

Ok so this thing where the motor bolts to the lock for the jar inside one of those plastic pieces is broke. But I have no clue how to remove the locking plastic
For model number KSB1570ER0
Hello Leonard, Thank you for the question. First remove Coupler by tapping it clockwise. Flip the appliance over and remove 4 screws holding base. Next remove 4 more screws holding Lock-jar. 2 of those screws have spring with a washer. Then you can remove the lock jar. Hope this helps!

Trying to remove the coupler to replace but it moves freely both directions on the lock jar base. How to remove?
For model number WPW10279256
Hi Carol, thank you for reaching out. We are providing you with instructions that will help you replace the coupler.
1- When you take the blender coupler off, it is left-handed threaded, so we have to turn the coupler clockwise.
2- Use a flathead screwdriver and hammer, and just give it a sharp tap so it spins in that direction.
3- Put the new coupler on and rotate it in an anticlockwise direction.
We hope this helps!
