If I push the normal button, the quick wash light comes on plus the delay light. Or if i push rinse only, the steam light or the quick wash light comes on. Pushing start does nothing. Any button I push, a different light comes on and the dishwasher doesn't run. Do i need a new control board?

Dishwasher has power but when i select normal or quick wash it will not come on

When i push the normal wash the auto clean, rinse only and steam sanitize lights come on instead. I tried unplugging it and sometimes that will fix the problem temporarily but it goes back to doing the same thing.

Hello, on our Maytag dishwasher all the buttons seem to work fine except for the start button. Sometimes you can power cycle the dishwasher at the breaker and it will work, and sometimes you can unplug it from the control board and plug back in to work. But it's hit and miss. Any suggestions? Hello Doug, thank you for your question. It sounds like the control panel connector is loose, or the whole panel will have to be replaced. Access the back of the control panel to see if there are broken or loose wires, if everything looks ok, and the connections are tight, the control panel would have to be replaced. The control lock light is blinking when I press any button. Tried resetting but it doesn't seem to work.

Hello Mathew, Thank you for the question. To turn the Lock off, press and hold the Options key that says "Control Lock Hold 3 Sec" under it for 3 seconds. If the dishwasher has a dedicated Control Lock button in the Options selections, press and hold CONTROL LOCK for 3 seconds. We hope this helps!

My dish washer normal button does not work. Would this be the control panel? Can I tell model number if I need stainless or one of the other colors. The outside of the dish washer is stainless. Thanks for your help.
