My Whirlpool washer fills on small and med. Loads but when i wash on large and i have tried several times water does not stop filling. What am i to do?
For model number WTW4800XQ1
Hi Diane, thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that can cause this issue. You should check your water level switch, your water inlet valve, and if those parts are working alright then it may actually be an issue in your control board itself. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Does not want to fill with water. It starts out with a good flow of water then goes to a trickle. The machine thinks it has enough water and goes in to a wash cycle.
Hi William,
Thank you for contacting us. The water level switch is one part to check if the washer is not filling with water. Some other parts you may have to look at are the inlet hoses and screens, the water inlet valve, the lid switch, the timer and both the selector switch and the water temperature switch. To verify if the electronic parts are working correctly, you will need to use a multimeter to check the continuity. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Machine does not start. When start button is press, I find that when I rotate the water level switch, and press the start button it comes on. Besides the water level switch is very stiff to move, while the others move freely. Can this prevent the washer from starting when start button is press?
For model number 2DWTW4800YQ0
Hello Oneal, Thank you for the question. It is possible the Water Level will need to be replaced. It might not be signalling the control board to start and fill the tub. I woudl start with the Switch. Hope this helps!
