faucet attachment would not sit correctly in hose connector to portable dishwasher. Received machine second hand. Could not find a replacement faucet adapter. So ordered new one and hose plus connector.
Turned machine on side. Removed two casters with Wonder Tool prybar. Then used it to remove plastic push screws holding cardboard bottom cover. Unscrewed water hose. Used screwdriver to remove clamp on drain hose. Stood machine upright, opened door. Unscrewed two screwsfrom tabs into woodblock top. Slid top forward and removed it. Cut plastic hose retainer. Removed hose assembly. Installed new hose by reversing steps. Used a new wire strap to hold hoses in place on top corner of machine.

Coupler that connects to the faucet would not stay attached
I turned the dishwasher on its side, exposing the bottom. You can visibly see where the two hoses connect to the dishwasher - one is secured via worm gear hose clamp (screw driver removal), the other simply screws on.
Be prepared for residual water leakage once these hoses are removed. Either lay towels out, or find a way to fully drain the hoses. Pay attention to how the hoses are fed through the back of the dishwasher so you can repeat this with the new hoses.
The new hoses are fed through the hole on the back of the dishwasher, run along the inside of the back panel, and fed out the bottom of the dishwasher. Reconnect the hoses, secure the one hose with the hose clamp, and you're good to go.

My faucet attachment keeps popping off, would I need to replace hose attachment?
For model number MDC5100AWW
Hello Tina, Thank you for the question. The Faucet attachment is not sold separate from the Hose, so the Coupler and Hose Assembly will need to be replaced. We hope this helps.

Why would you require us to buy the entire hose assembly when most of us simply need a $2 washer? This is a very unethical practice!
For model number Mdc4650aww
Hello Kakarl, Thank you for the question. We believe this is a concern best addressed by the manufacturer. We are a parts distributor. We do not manufacture any units or parts so we do not have a say if Maytag sells just the washer. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience.

The faucet connector leaks. Can I just replace the rubber seal?
For model number PDC3600AWX
Hello Leonard, Thank you for the question. We looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers and contact us back with he updated substitution number. We hope this helps!
