Our control panel is intermittent in lighting up the display. We sometimes have to bump or thump the stove top to light up the display to see temperature, clock, etc. Can this be as simple as a poor connection, or am i going to need to replace the control panel.

Hello Tom, thank you for your question. That sounds like a loose connection. We would recommend removing the control panel and ribbon connector first as that is the most likely issue. I hope this helps.

Need to replace control board wp9782456 but do not want to order part until i can get to it. Control panel on kesc300hwh8 only has 3 screws under the panel. Have removed them and panel will give at he bottom but cannot figure out how the top part of the panel comes out. I have pushed pulled tried to slide out but cannot get the top part to give. Can you give me any help and how to get to top part to release?? thank you for your help.

The oven and the electronic control board in the video may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part.
