Hello An, thank you for your question. The most likely issue is a thermostat in the unit. We would recommend testing the following thermostats. PartSelect Number: PS11746740 and PartSelect Number: PS11746678. The wires leading to the thermostat are connected using metal slip on connectors. Remove the wires by pulling on the connectors, and not the wires themselves. It may be a good idea to use a pair of needle nosed pliers to help you. To test these thermostats, set your multimeter to the R X 1 setting. Take each of your meter's probes and touch one to each terminal. You are testing for continuity, and you should receive a reading of either zero or infinity. At room temperature, testing the thermostat should produce a reading of zero. But if a thermostat is tested when it is heated to its limit, a reading of infinity should be produced. We strongly recommend that you test your thermostat at room temperature. If the test you conduct with your thermostat does not produce these results, then you should replace the component. If the thermostats are tested and are functioning correctly, test the gas coils, flame sensor, and igniter. I hope this helps!

The dyer takes longer than usual to dry. I cleaned the vent, replaced the thermal fuse, thermistor and gas valve solenoids. The burner does ignite and cycles off and on. Clothes are still damp after a normal cycle and i need to dry longer.

Hello and thank you for writing.
It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty moisture sensor PS11741408 and/or possibly a malfunctioning high limit thermostat PS11746678 you should check the part(s) for signs of damage or test with a multimeter, and replace the part(s) as needed. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
Dryer is taking a long time to dry. Have noticed this during troubleshooting.
With clothes in the dryer and ducting attached, burner only stays lit for 8-9 seconds, and cycles.
With clothes in the dryer and ducting not attached, burner stays lit for 8-9 seconds, and cycles.
With a single towel in the dryer, ducting disconnected, 50-60 seconds burner stays lit, and cycles.
With single towel, ducting connected 45ish seconds burner stays lit. And cycles.
Thinking is my high temp cut out? And with the increased air flow it’s not cutting out as quickly?

Hello Derek, thank you for writing in. It may be shutting off if air flow is restricted, such as if the vent is dirty; or the gas valve coils may be faulty. It may be a bad drum felt seal, causing poor air suction through the dryer. Please check the dryer vent. Poor airflow is almost always the cause of a bad thermal fuse. The M Series New Style Coil Kit is PS334310. The Dryer Drum Seal is PS990009. The Thermal Fuse is PS11741444. We hope this helps.
