The control damper was very noisy.
I started by unplugging the unit, then removing the air outlet cover, then the housing & foam insulation. Next ,I disconnected the harnesses & unsnapped the damper assy., & put the new one in. Total repair time was about 10 minutes. I did buy the repair manual, but it was special order & arrived after I made the repair. I am an automotive technician, & this was a very simple repair for me.

Refrigerator was not cooling. Damper would not open.
Removed damper vent by hand and then unscrewed 2 visible screws that hold Damper Control Unit in place. After removing screws, the damper control unit is easy to remove by unplugging 2 electrical connectors by hand and connecting new unit the same way. Screw the panel and snap the vent back in place and you're done!! Piece of pie, easy as cake...Ha! Ha!

Kemore dryer: Model 110.67851600. Only getting partial heat inside dryer. Just started with reduced heat this week but didn't really note malfunction in heating until today with very long dry cycles. Checked voltage and reset breakers (240 vac confirmed at outlet). Cleaned vent approx 2 months ago (but haven't rechecked since early aug.) not sure what is causing partial heating. Thought broken element would provide no heat; same with fuses and thermostats. Haven't checked the electrical components (continuity) with meter but i have been assuming that they either work or they don't and i'm not sure if this is correct. Can you confirm or make suggestion before i order new part(s). Bad day for my appliances. Sent a question on my refrigerator cooling system (too cold in fresh food area) earlier today. All help (for both questions) would be appreciated.

Hi Don, Thank you for your inquiry. There are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the thermal fuse, the heating element, the thermal cut-off-kit, the internal bias thermostat, the high limit thermostat and the door switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The fresh food side of the ref will not maintain temp and is up to room temp. The freezer side is maintaining the set temp. No cold air is flowing into the fresh food side. Is there a fan that is not working, I noticed by opening and closing the freezer door I can pump cold air into the fresh food side. I took the cover off the cold air supply and the damper is open. What do you think is the problem. Thanks rick

My refrigerator is freezing food. I believe the thermostat is working because when i set the temperature control to its lowest setting it shuts the compressor off. I suspect the damper may be stuck open but i can't seem to find where the damper is located.
