Timer knob was broken.
First I removed the remaining piece of the broken timer knob, then screw in the brand new timer knob.

Old timer knob cracked and broke off
Unscrewed the old one off and then screwed the new one on.

The timing knob had stripped on my washing machine
First we turned the power off the machine and it took a total of 10 mins to repair. My husband use the pliers to pull off the stripped worn knob and replace it with the new timing knob and now I am a Happy Girl! Thank you so much, this was the only place I could find the part. We will certainly use you in the future.

knob broke off and timer was stripped
removed all old parts, put in new, saved a bundle

Timer Knob on the washer was stripped.
Replaced the timer and knob. Very simple..!! Works great now... dont have to struggle turning the washer knob anymore.

Knob was sheared off and the timer jammed intermittently
I removed the screws that held the timer/control cover in place. Removed the two screws that held the timer and unplugged the wires. I discovered that the old knob had jammed the timer shaft, so I probably didn't need a new timer. However, I had one ;-) so I installed it along with the new knob.
