Is this a left handed screw? Loosens clockwise?

No spray to wash. To clean below filter, i cannot remove screw #12 part ps11741299 shown on diagram for pump and motor parts because holding the wrench on the black plastic disk keeps the disk from moving but whatever the part 12 screw is screwed into turns freely with the screw. I even tried to bind the plastic disk in the motor under the bottom of the dishwasher and the part 12 screw still turns freely but does not come out and is still tight to the top of the black plastic disk. Please give me some suggestions for removing the part 12 screw.

Hi Robert, Thank you for the question. This screw would be removed by turning counterclockwise. Unfortunately if you have stripped the screw you might have to look into getting a technician in to remove it without damaging any other parts. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
