while cooking burner went from setting 4 to full heat & wouldn't cycle even with pan removed
pull range from slot in cabinets, remove power cord from wall plug, remove cover from control panel, hold new control next to old one and transfer wires from one to the other one at a time; reverse procedure to get things put back together

I have the left front (biggest) burner gets stuck on high occasionally when we turn the switch off. If we fiddle with the switch it will turn off. This only happens occasionally, otherwise it works fine. Which part would you recommend replacing, it is difficult to tell from the parts diagram which part to use. I think its #27, but there are multiple parts associated with that item. What do you suggest ? Thanks so much for your help.
