The only two water levels that i can get is large or xlarge no matter what the setting is. Cannot do a small or medium load with correct water level. What part do i need to fix that?
For model number LAT3500AAE
Hello Jerry, thank you for inquiring. This is most likely due to a faulty Water Inlet Valve, part number PS11739359 for your model washer. You may also want to consider replacing this Water Level Pressure Switch, part number PS11739308. Good luck with your repair!

Our washer level selector has become "iffy". It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I suspect its the selector switch since retrying the switch usually makes it work.
For model number LAT3600aae
Hello Graham, thank you for contacting us. Before replacing the water level switch you need to check it for continuity. You will need a multimeter for this test. Set the multimeter on the lower scale to read ohms. The water level switch has three terminals that are marked 7, 15, and 16 showing top, middle, and bottom terminals respectively. You will have to test terminals 7 and 15 by connecting the probes of the multimeter to them. The reading should be close to 0. Now repeat the procedure to test terminals 7 and 16. The near 0 reading will show its good health. If you are not getting a near-zero reading, it would suggest the water level switch is defective and needs to be replaced. Please feel free to contact us if you have any follow-up queries.
