Control board fixed draining problem
After checking all the usual causes of draining problems I ended up changing the control board and it worked. My board is in the door so I hade to unscrew and separate the door. Then unplug the display, removed the board from the retaining clip on the top and two plastic covers for the connections. Next remove all the plugs, and plug into new board and put back into place not forgetting to put covers back on. When putting the putter part of the door together you need to slip the bottom in first. And don’t forget to plug in the display before screwing back together.

Nearby lightning strike killed it - no power
Started with some disassembly of the door to observe the electronics first. Hoped to find a fuse I could replace. No luck. Found the circuit board underneath just above the floor behind the kick plate. Ordered the new circuit board from part select.
Regular shipping means we had to hand wash for several days. Didn't want to take off the door or remove the unit from the cabinet which made the replacement process a bit tight. Removed one nut to move the power junction box out of the way, and two more to lower the metal box that supports the circuit panel. Learned that I could have removed it by sliding it to the left about an inch, but couldn't see how it was attached. Plug and play circuit board had about 8 connections. Disconnected the old one, reconnected the new one and snapped it into place. Put the metal support box back in, then slid the panel into support then to the right until it locked. Put the power junction box back and then the kick plate. Turned on the breaker. Fixed. Paid about $160 for the part i think. Glad they had the part I needed for this unit. If I had to do it again, would need just about 5 minutes to complete now that I know the steps. Pretty simple.
Also tightened the door handle from behind while I had it all apart. Loose handle had been annoying. Unit works like new.

How does my control box W1088900 attach to my Kitchenaid. The box just hangs freely preventing me from attaching the front panel door.
For model number KDTM404ESS
Hi John, thank you for getting in touch. To install the control box properly, follow the following instructions:
1. Make sure the wire connectors are connected to the appropriate terminals.
2. Align the cover, tuck the wires in, and snap on the cover.
3. Position the control board in the mounting bracket and snap the wire harness retainer into the slot in the bracket.
4. Hook the wires onto the sump clip and reposition the inner access panel and insulation, followed by the outer panel.
We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Water in, water out ok. Will not activate spray arm. Sounds like a relay click every 1 to 2 seconds.
For model number KDTM354ESS0
Hello Wally, Thank you for your question. I suggest checking the following parts: PS11757214 Turbidity Sensor, as well as the spray arms. You may need to remove them and flush with hot water and vinegar. Good luck with your repair!

Dishwasher has power to hardwire point. No lights coming on control panel
Unit is 5 years old
For model number kdtm404ewh1
Hello Charles, thank you for your question. According to our research, the issue might be due to the electronic control board, part number PS11737962, and the control panel, part number PS11769569. First, make sure the fuse or breaker is not tripped/damaged, then you need to check the electronic control board with a multimeter for short-circuit tests or continuity. If you find it defective, please replace it. If it is good, then check and replace the control panel. Good luck with your repair!
