There was a power outage in our neighborhood and when the power came back on there may have been a surge. Several of my gfci outlets were blown and required replacement (not just resetting) and my fridge and this dishwasher kdtm354dss no longer power up. I checked the plugs which are putting out normal voltage. Is it reasonable to assume that the main board is fried and needs replacement? Thanks!

Hi Dan,
Thank you for your question. Yes, if there was a power surge, it likely damaged the electronic control board and you will need to check it to verify if this the part that is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Have power going to unit, but have no power or lights on control panel. I am guessing circuit board is bad or would anything else cause this?
For model number KDTM354DSS4
Hello Brett, Thank you for the question. The fuse that is built into the control board may have shorted out. Unfortunately this means the board will need to be replaced. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
