Convection fan doesn’t work anymore. Once set temp is reached fan simply does not come on. For a couple months it had been making a screeching sound when running. Would replacing the fan motor address the issue?

Trying to replace the automatic door lock mechanism. I am experiencing the dreaded phantom "locked" flashing on my display. I think i should start with the lock switch but i am having a hard time determining which part(s) i need.
For model number pgb930set3ss

Hi James, Thank you for your question. If the locked door light is coming on it means that the self-clean cycle has been selected but the door is not closed and on models with a latch, it was was not moved all the way to the right. To resolve this, close the oven door and move the latch all the way to the right. If this does not help you may need to replace the latch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
