All the temp setting lights are flashing which i see as "a control system problem" in the manual that came with the fridge. How do i determine if this is a thermistor for temperature control of the defrost thermostat. What is happening: About every 15 seconds, a relay near the control panel can be heard cycling with no action by the compressor while all of the lights are flashing. Am i correct in just replacing the control board. I would hate to start parts swapping and find out after numerous parts that the problem was a $10 part is there are any in the control system. Thanks for your help

Hello Andrew, thank you for your question. If all the lights are flashing and the compressor isn't functioning properly, the most likely issue would be the control board as this is basically the "brain" of the unit, and runs most all functions. If the thermostat/thermistor isn't working the temperature of the unit might fluctuate but the compressor should still turn on and run as normal. I hope this helps!

Hello Henry, Thank you for contacting us! It is possible that the knob has stripped and no longer locks to the control shaft to move it. I suggest checking PS7784321 for signs this has happened. Hope this helps!

My refrigerator can't be defrosted. How can i check or need to buy some accessories? Thank you
For model number FFET1022QW0

Hi Gary, thank you for your question. When you are having temperature problems in your fridge, there are a few parts that could cause the issue. You can use a multi meter to test most of the parts. Make sure you cut power to your appliance before doing any repairs or tests. First you should test your defrost thermostat. Place the thermostat in ice cold water for 2-3 minutes after removing it from your appliance. It should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. Another part to check would be your defrost heater. Remove it from the appliance. It should be reading anywhere between 0 - 50 ohms to be working. You could check your temperature sensor. To find the correct reading for this part you will have to refer to your tech sheet that comes with your appliance. You can usually find this tech sheet behind the bottom grille of your fridge on either the right or left side. These are the most common parts that cause this issue in your appliance. So it is suggested you check them first. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
