What exactly is the control-elec part? My 5 year old dishwasher fails to drain intermittently after cycle completion. We have been manually draining the unit by pressing the "drain" button. Now that has stopped working. Everything else seem to work fine. I thought it is likely the control panel that is malfunctioning so i am interested in that particular part. Thanks

Is this the control board/mother board/computer/brains for the dishwasher? I had a repairman come out and he said we needed a new computer/control board.
