This part looks like it includes the top panel above the stove. I only require the metal part that holds the 5 stove knobs. Is there a department price for that?

Hello Savoeun, thank you for your question. The part you've referenced is the metal piece that the knobs sit up against. I hope this helps.

The diagram for this part shows many pieces. Will i be able to just unscrew the metal panel that holds the knob and replace it with the new part? I just want to make sure that this piece is not attached to anything that requires a technician to come in. I ruin the finish on the metal piece and just wondering if there is anything you can recommend?

Hi Savoeun,
Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet or turn the circuit breaker off. First remove the grates and the burner heads from the top of the stove. Then you will need to remove the screws securing the burner tube assemblies to the cooktop. Then take a small screwdriver and slip it under each side and pry it up and release the release clip securing the cooktop. Once you have everything disconnected from the top, you can use a piece of wood to support it. Then pull off all the knobs. To remove the control panel, you will need to unthread the screws on each side of the panel. And then remove the 2 screws from the bottom of the panel. With the screws removed, you can now remove the panel. To install the new panel, follow the steps in reverse. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
