When a load of wash is done there are what looks like small pieces of black lint in the tub that I have to vacuum out. Do you have any idea where this may be coming from? It happens after every wash.
For model number WTW8600YW1

Hello Douglas, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Filter At Bottom Of Outer Tub to make sure it is not blocked and preventing the filter from catching lint or allowing it to enter back into the tub during the wash. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

often gives the unlevel code .... washer is perfectly level
For model number WTW8600YW1
PartSelect logo
Hello Pat, thank you for contacting us. If uL appears in the display, the load is out of balance. The washer is running a load-balance correction routine. Allow the washer to continue. If the dial is flashing and the washer has stopped, redistribute the load, close the lid, and press the start button. If the problem persists, you may need to replace the suspension rod kit, part number PS3502193. We hope this solves your problem!

The washer was making a horrible noise during the spin cycle
Removed a cap in the center of the tub basket which has a bolt that needs removed I believe it's a 9/16 after I removed the bolt I then removed the center of the bottom of the basket assembly which then allowed me to get to the basket hub that needed replaced it was a little dirty and I couldn't get it out so I sprayed a little penitrating oil on it let it sit a little then I was able to remove the hub and install the new one then I put it all back together and the washer is working great

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
