My washer always ends a cycle with a code of f0e4 and since it it still under the one year warranty, i called a Whirlpool technician to evaluate it and everything tested fine. Why is this still coming on at the end of the cycle even when i choose a cold water cycle? Thanks for any information you can provice.

Hi Olga, Thank you for your question. The F0 E4 error code indicates that the water temperature is too hot. Check the hoses to make sure they are connected correctly and make sure that the washer is connected to the cold water supply and that it is turned on. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

Why doesn't the washing machine get soap out of clothes? All black clothes end up with streaks of white soap on them.
For model number WTW5105HW0
PartSelect logo
Hello Diane, thank you for writing. The water temperature may be too cold and may not correctly dissolve detergent, resulting in white “clumps” of undissolved detergent on the clothing. To avoid white residue on clothes, you can: Ensure your washing machine is regulating the cold water temperature as it should. Other possibilities are Excessive Lint, Excess detergent. To get rid of the white residue, wash the stained items again in the hottest water suitable for the fabric but DO NOT add any detergent or fabric softener. Instead, add one cup of distilled white vinegar to the wash cycle to help fibers relax slightly and release the residue. Good luck and have a great day.

received reading of F7E1. have been told common causes include a faulty control board. Need help!
For model number WTW5105HW0

Hi Frank, thank you for getting in touch. This error code indicates that there is a problem with the tachometer. We would recommend checking the tachometer to solve the problem. The tachometer for your model does not come separately, and it comes with the shift actuator, part number PS11769864. We hope that helps!

I hve the error code FOE7. WHAT DO I DO?
For model number WTW5105HW0
PartSelect logo
Hi Kathleen, thank you for your question! The error code F0E7 means that the load is detected while attempting to run the clean washer cycle. You may reset the unit by powering it off and turn it on back after 60 seconds. If the issue persists, then probably you have a defective control board, part number PS16555301, and need to be replaced to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.

Tab on door strike got broken off and washer would not operate without it.
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
