This assembly comes with two shocks, four nuts, one leveling leg pin and instructions. These shock absorbers keep the washer from vigorous shaking during it's cycles.
This water inlet valve attaches the water lines to the back of your appliance. The attaching solenoids on the valve open and close according to the desired temperature, or amount of water needed.
The timer controls most of the operations of the washer: water level, tub filling and emptying, length of cycles, and cycle setting sequences.

Have oil spots on cloths after wash. Also makes loud noise on the spin cycle
For model number WSXH208A1WW
Hello and thank you for writing.
When the rubber breaks down, oil and grease can make their way out of the outer tub assembly PS273277. If the watertight seals that keep the engine compartment dry fail, then that oil and grease can enter the washing machine's drum during a wash cycle. Oil doesn't mix with water, so that's why you see spots on your clean clothes. It would make this noise if the bearing of the tub has gone defective which seems to be the case here. The bearing is included in the assembly. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Why would my tub drop 3 inches
For model number WSXH208A1WW
Hello Linda and thanks for writing.
If the washer drum dropped the drive pulley might be worn out, cracked, loose or bent.or you havefaulty shock absorbers PS270563 ... If the washer is also making a loud noise in the spin cycle, the clutch assembly might be worn out. The clutch assembly makes the connection between the transmission and the inner tub.
Disconected power & hoses. Removed 4 screws from two tabs at rear of top. Slid top fwd & up to remove. Removed two screws from lower front panel and removed panel. Removed back cover screws and back cover. Placed sling arround tub & lifted with 2"X4" on strap placing additional wood under sling supported by edges of machine. Removed one scred and loosened mother that held spring hook in place. removed broken end and remainder of spring. hooked spring in hole in tub and raised spring upper hook on to support , re installed retainer. Went to lower side and removed plastic push bolts, by slipping a 1/2 " deep socker over front end and pulling from back with plirers.allign the holes in the new shock with the mount holes and nock them in place. remove sling from arround tub and re assemble all removed parts.
This is the second time in the same 7 year old appliance. Remove the front bottom cover by removing 2 screws. Then remove the 2 screws holding the pump down. Then unclip the electrical wire from the pump and remove both hoses from the pump by squeezing the spring clamps with a pliers. Have a pan to collect the water that will drain from the lines. Take the new pump and install it in reverse order from above.
after pulling pins and installing new shocks, the washer still made loud ,disturbing sounds during use. Did some more investigating, turns out the inner bearings on the drum are bad. Apparently a problem with this model. Probably why the original shocks broke in the first place.
