How do i replace main interior led lights
For model number WRX735SDBM04
PartSelect logo
Hi William, Thank you for your question. Here are some instructions that a customer posted on our website on how she replaced/installed the LED light module that you may reference for information, "There is a Philips head screw that holds the light cover on. Remove it. Pull the cover off from the back. It is rather tight so you need to pull fairly hard. Two tabs on the left side of the light hold the assembly in place. Release them and drop the module down. Unplug and do the reverse to put it back together." Remember, before doing any repair on a refrigerator to always unplug it from the electrical outlet. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

The lights in the upper refrigerator compartment "flicker" continuously. Also there appears to be one of the eight that does not try to light at all. I believe that this is part number ps12070396. How is this replaced?
For model number WRX735SDBM04

Hello David, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number that you have provided and confirm part# PS12070396 is the led light assembly for the upper refrigerator compartment. To install the part, remove the Philips head screw that holds the light cover in place. Once removed, pull the cover off from the back. It could be tight so you need a bit of force. There will be two tabs on the left side of the light module to hold the assembly in place. Release the tabs and drop the module down. Unplug the module and do the reverse to put it back together. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Why cooling off
For model number WRX735SDBM04
PartSelect logo
Hello Nelli, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, we would recommend checking the door gasket and the temperature sensor. If they are fine, then the issue is most probably with the run capacitor, part number PS11753490. It helps keep the motor running. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!

Removing the existing filter by rotating as directed and then dislodging from 'docking' station proved difficult. Turns out, the old filter is under a bit of vacuum pressure and getting the unit to separate or release was a challenge.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. I was concerned that I would be too forceful for the plastic assemblies and would break something; deliberate motions and a steady thought process on the problem helped disengage the darned old filter!
