Where in the refrigerator is the place to replace the water filter.
For model number WRS315SDHZ03
Hello Ermelinda, Thank you for the question. The Water Filter is located down in the kickplate below the door. You just need to pull the old filter out and push the new one in place. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
Hi Ermelinda, Thank you for your question. The water filter is found behind the kickplate on bottom of the refrigerator on the left hand side. Pull the water filter door towards you and the filter will pop out slightly. Remove the old filter. Before installing the new filter, remove the cap. On the inside of the water filter door, you will see arrows. These same arrows will be on the bottom of the new filter. Line the arrows up on filter with the ones on the door so you can install the filter correctly. We hope this helps!
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
The repair was actually easy; however I have an ice dispencer/crusher attached and the which the diagram supplied with the part did not include. I had to make several calls before I was e-mailed the diagram. Suggestions: note that the screw at the end of the auger goes in the reverse direction (this took me about 20 minutes to figure out even though it was shown in the diagram). Also, be sure to keep the ice crusher parts in order and be sure the white plastic tab on the crusher fits into a depression in the housing. I did not notice this and had to take it all apart and redo the install. It works great!!!
