Refrigerator is on but will not cool down. I hear the compressor come on but does not stay on long
For model number WRF757SDEM01
PartSelect logo
Hello and thank you for writing. Clogged coils can cause poor cooling. Check to make sure nothing is stuck in the condenser fan and that it spins freely (models with coils on the back won't have a fan). To do this, unplug the fridge and pull it out. Plug in the fridge and make sure the fan runs when the compressor is running. If this does not fix this problem then your compressor itself might be faulty and possibly needs to be replaced. Please see the part links related to this question just beneath this answer. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

Freezer is not cooling too below freezing Ice cream melts but frozen meat isnt thawing
For model number WRF757SDEM01
PartSelect logo
Hello William, thank you for contacting us. There are several reasons why a freezer may not be cooling properly and not reaching a freezing temperature. Some of the most common include: 1. Dirty condenser coils: Dirty coils can reduce the efficiency of the freezer and cause it to not cool properly. Make sure to clean the coils on a regular basis to ensure proper cooling. 2. Insufficient airflow: If the freezer's condenser fan or evaporator fan is not working, the freezer may not be able to cool properly. Check the fans to make sure they are working and that the vents and ducts are not blocked. If fans are not working check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS11731053, and the condenser fan motor, part number PS12114471. 3. Control setting: The temperature control settings on the freezer might not be correctly set, check the settings of your unit and adjust accordingly. 4. Temperature sensor: The temperature sensor, part number PS2580944, is responsible for measuring the temperature inside the freezer and communicating it to the control board. When this sensor fails, the freezer may not maintain the desired temperature or may even not cool at all. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Ice dispenser motor burnt out, water got inside.
Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy. called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.

while closing the door, the light switch fouled, resulting in the switch breaking
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
