Part #4681EA2001T
The drain pump and motor assembly may also be known as the washer drain pump and is a part for your washer. The drain pump helps expel water from the washing machine. The drain pump is activated after the spin cycle speed is maintained for a specific period of time. To make this installation you will need a Phillips screwdriver, a small flat-blade screwdriver, a pair of needle-nose pliers, and a pair of slip-joint pliers. Note that the pump casing is not included. This medium-difficulty repair may vary, but can generally be started by disconnecting power, then removing the top of the washer by taking out the four back screws and two small brackets. Then, remove the front panel by taking out the two screws and eight tabs that should be taken from the top. Moving down the front of the washer, remove the door, latch, tub gasket, and drain cover. Disconnect the drain hoses and clip from under the drain assembly, and install new assembly from there. Reassemble parts in direct reverse order -- taking photos during disassembly and keeping parts clearly organized can help here. Despite the number of steps, you will only need a standard Phillips screwdriver to complete this repair.

Part #5220FR2006H
This hot water inlet valve is designed to regulate water flow into the washing machine during operation. Featuring a standard hose fitting inlet and a single water outlet, it opens as needed to allow hot water into the appliance. If the valve is defective, you may notice slow filling, no filling at all, or water leaks. A simple way to test the valve is to unplug the washer when the issue occurs—if water continues to flow, the valve is likely faulty and should be replaced. The part measures approximately 3 inches in length by 3 inches in width and is sold individually.

This washer hose with bellows, also known as a dispenser hose, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your washer. Replacing this part can be helpful if your washer is leaking. The dispenser hose connects the dispenser assembly to the tub. Before beginning the repair, unplug the washer and turn off the water supply. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to complete this repair; a clamp tool can also be helpful. Remove the screws holding the lid of the washer in place, and take off the lid. Locate the dispenser hose and remove its clamps. Place the clamps on the new hose, using the arrows for a guide in positioning the clamps. Install the new hose and reassemble all other parts.

Part #6501KW2002B
This washer sensor assembly, also known as a motor rotor position sensor, is a genuine OEM replacement part designed to monitor the direction and speed of the rotor during operation. By communicating this data to the electronic control board, it ensures proper spin and agitation cycles. A malfunctioning sensor may result in the washer pumping but failing to spin or agitate, leading to incomplete wash cycles. This part is sold individually and is compatible with select washer models. For safety, always disconnect power before beginning installation, and verify model compatibility prior to purchase.

Part #4986ER0004F
Also known as a door boot seal or bellow and comes with a drain hole. Door boot 4986ER0004F is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some front-load washers in these series: Kenmore and Kenmore Elite 796; and LG WM and CW. Door boot 4986ER0004F forms a seal between the wash tub and the door, preventing leaks. This door boot includes a drain port; if your 27-inch LG front-load washer was made before September 2007, use door boot 4986ER0004B instead, because those washers don't have a drain port.

Part #EBF49827801
This door lock assembly is a critical component in compatible washing machines, responsible for confirming that the door is securely closed before initiating a wash cycle. When functioning properly, it communicates with the control system to engage the locking mechanism. A faulty switch may prevent the door from latching, opening, or starting the cycle. Located behind the front panel, replacement requires removal of the door gasket and access to the internal housing. Sold individually.

If your washer isn’t filling properly or skipping parts of the cycle, this water valve might be the issue. It controls cold water flow for the bleach dispenser and prewash cycles. The valve connects with a standard hose and has three outlets—two pointing to the right and one to the left—all at a 45-degree angle. It’s a genuine part and easy to install, but be sure to unplug your washer and turn off the water before starting.

This round rubber tub seal is designed to prevent water leakage between the front and rear halves of the outer tub in select washing machines. Positioned at the junction of the tub components, it compresses during operation to maintain a watertight seal, ensuring efficient washing performance and protecting internal components from moisture damage. A worn or damaged seal may result in water leaks, unusual operational noises, or reduced washing effectiveness. Replacing the seal restores proper containment and supports the overall functionality and longevity of the appliance. Installation may require partial disassembly of the tub assembly.

Washing maching wouldn't drain

Removed the top of the washer by removing the 4 back screws and 2 small brackets. Then I removed the front panel, this was actually the hardest part, 2 screws and 8 tabs that you pop out carefully from the top of the panel. I only disconnected the power button and was able to rest the panel on top of the washer. The rest of the washer cam e apart quickly just moving down the front of the washer and removing the door, latch, tub gasket, drain cover. Removing the pump was just a mater of disconnecting the drain hoses, and one clip under the drain assembly. 3 screws attach the drain to assembly to the pump and only 2 wires that are clearly marked. Reassembly is just going back through in reverse order of disassenbly. The best thing about this is that it all comes apart with a standard phillips screwdriver.

LE Error Message and won't spin drum properly

I first tested the motor per the service manual. I checked the resistance between the terminals of the 3 pin connector. It's supposed to be 5-15 ohms. The motor checked out so I replaced the main electrical board. It turns out that wasn't the problem. After a brief web search I found out that the hall sensor (which is attached to the motor stator) was the likely cause of the failure. I replaced that and everything works great now. And now I have a spare main board in case that ever fails. I also want to mention that I took the time to remove the dispenser box (where the water comes in and is directed to the different cleaning products) and cleaned it with a very strong bleach solution. It got rid of the mildew and funky smell. It seems that the fabric softener caused a lot of mildew to form inside the dispenser directly above the fabric softener tray. The bleach took care of that. This is probably something that should be done routinely to keep the mildew from forming.
