The dry heat is not coming to dry but when washing the element is coming on.

Hi Donald, thank you for getting in touch. We have researched the model and would suggest checking the door actuator, part number PS11746083. It releases the door latch when you lift the handle. If your current door actuator is cracked or broken, it may cause the door to not close properly. The dishwasher also may not be able to start, and if this is the case, you may need to replace it. I called an experienced plumber, who balanced and installed my new dishwasher properly, using the brackets I ordered from Parts Select, after an INEXPERIENCED plumber had tossed the factory-provided mounting brackets out with the shipping carton. Relief!
unscrewed dishwasher from cabinet ...,moved out slightly....while door closed ...reached with long nosed pliers door spring pulled forward...and allowing white plastic part that fits through sleeve and fit new sleeve over it...pulled spring attaching white plastic part and pushed unit back to cabinet and replaced screws DONE.
