How do I remove the bump knob?
For model number UT26SSL3
Hi Art, thank you for your inquiry. In order to remove the bump knob, you just need to depress the two retaining tabs to release the lower trimmer head housing. Lift the spool out of the housing and you can detach the bump knob. We hope this helps!

Lay trimmer on bench so Phillips head screw on end of shaft just above trimmer head is up. Turn trimmer head until you see a gap open just below screw. Insert Allen wrench in gap. Hold in on Allen wrench with one hand while turning trimmer head to the right. Reverse threads lefty tighty ,righty loosey.
