The drawer roller wheel on the bottom right side rail has come apart and fallen off. I believe i have found the correct part on your website. It looks like the bolt on the back side must be taken off to replace the part. The access to the bolt is too small for access with a wrench. How does one get the damaged part off?Thank you, dave

Hello and thank you for writing. To replace a container drawer roller PS12722845 in your trash compactor first depress the foot pedal pull the container juror assembly forward lift it off of the track and set the assembly on a sturdy surface use a 9/16 inch socket to unthread the roller mounting nut and pull the old roller off of the rail install the new container to our roller by inserting it into the rail then thread and tighten the mounting nut to secure reposition the container to our assembly on the track and confirmed that it moves freely. We hope this information helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Is there a handle for this model. There appears to be a recess for the fasteners on the inside of the door. It would be nice to be able to open and close it by the handle.

Trash compactor would not shut off at end of cycle. Would have to manually turn it off.
Removed compactor from opening. Using screw driver unthreaded 4 screws from top and then removed the on/off dial. Face plate came off easy and provided access to relay switch bank. Unscrewed two screws which allowed both relay switches to be removed and replaced. Recommend replacing both relay switches. Reassembled and compactor worked fine. Very easy job. If your compactor is making a machine gun noise during the return cycle then this will solve your problem.

RAM was crooked. Power Nut was stripped.
Followed YouTube instructions. Was relatively easy to dismantle, though on this GE Profile model compactor, needed to partially undo the front panel to provide room to remove the RAM. Works great now!!
