Can I purchase only the line cutter blade or is it only sold as part of the shield?

According to our research, the line cutter blade does not come separately, you need to replace the entire spool assembly, part number PS9939455, to fix the issue. We hope this helps! Repair was quick, simple and easy. Only tool needed was a phillips head screwdriver. Removal of three screws, remove old deflector, attach/align new deflector, insert screws and tighten. That's all to it. less than 2 minutes.
