the ice maker makes a noise sounds like heavy breathing

Hi Lloyd, thank you for reaching out. We have found that the heavy breathing noise you hear is typically the ice maker jamming up and not able to cycle. Turn the ice maker off and see if the noise goes away. If so, then thaw out the ice maker completely with a hair dryer. If the noise comes back, you may need to replace the icemaker control assembly, part number PS2341896, to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
