On motor & ice contaer drawing, 8199381, part 9. The u shaped clip turns freely on the shaft without dispensing ice cubes. I am unable to find that part number or how to fix it.

How to install water filter

Hi Diane, thank you for your inquiry. The water filter for your refrigerator is in the bottom left corner. Remove the old water filter by rotating it counterclockwise. Install the new one by rotating it clockwise after snapping it in place. We have also attached a video on how to install or remove the water filter. Glad to be of help!
