removed screws holding element and detached wires and simply removed it; no problem. Reversed the process to install the new one. The great thing is that I ordered this element one morning and received it the very next day! just diconnected the electric unscrewed the 2 screws that held the element in place, then i unplugged the old element, plugged in the new element, replaced the 2 retaining screws. that was it! Frigidaire customer service had no clue how to help me find this element for an old wall mount oven. I spent over a half hour on the phone with them. The cool part about parts select is, I was on the phone with them less than 5 minutes and had already found and paid for the element i was looking for. on and off the phone in less than 5 minutes. Very easy to replace old bake element with new one. Used screw driver to remove the old element, disconnected wires then connected wires to new element and used the screw driver to secure new element.
