How do I remove and clean filter(s)
For model number PDW9980N00SS
PartSelect logo
Hi Mary, thank you for your query. Your dishwasher has two filters at the bottom: a large filter screen that catches large food particles, part number PS959277 and a smaller filter screen that catches fine particles, part number PS958919. We have attached a video that will assist you in removing the fine filter. To clean the filter, rinse it under running water. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush to get any chunks of stubborn food. Next, place it in a mix of warm water and vinegar. Finally, let this solution soak for at least 30 minutes. We hope this information helps!

My wheels would not stay on the roller rack which made me dread having to put a dish in the rack.
All I had to do is take out the rack, pop off the old wheels, place the new stud rollers on, then pop on the new wheels. So easy and now my dishes don't get chipped when I pull the rack out and push it back in. I wish I didn't wait so long to order new parts.

Lower rack began rusting and wheels broke off.
Pull old rack out, slip new one in!
One thing i did was order wheels and studs as i was unaware they lower rack came fully equiped with all wheels, studs, and flip up dish dividers. So if your replacing the rack no need to order the wheels! The diagram made it look as if you only et the wire rack and not all the added pieces.
