Gas oven temperature is not being regulated very well. Seems to be out randomly by 50-75 degrees. Eg. Want 375,set for 450. But not consistent. Fluctuations occur all the time. Which part? Thanks!

Hi Trina, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description, the issue is with the oven temperature sensor, part number PS11768028. The sensor monitors the temperature inside the oven and sends signals to the control board. We would recommend checking the sensor to fix the issue. Good luck with this repair!
removed two phillips screws. Unplugged electrical connections replaced unit from PartSelect. They sent holder cover and new bulb (surprise). Great store with great directions.
the flame spreader through the years, developed a hole above the glow coil causing the above trapped gas between the oven pan and spreader to ignite. by replacing the flame spreader the problem is gone and is now working properly. thank you, parts select for being there when i needed the part and also being reasonably priced. mike marino
