This antenna is made by the original manufacturer. It is used in DeWALT job site radio/chargers. It is made of metal enclosed in a rubber cover. Because antennas receive radio signals, a bent or damaged antenna will result in poor reception. This external antenna is attached into the connection point on the outer case. This repair is very simple and does not require tools.
