NOTE: Ryobi parts are interchangeable with other model and part numbers. Item needed was no longer available. But keep looking for something that would work. Found item that look just like what I needed. It worked with no problems or issues. Replaced trimmer spool and grass deflector assembly that was wore out and causing line to wrap around spool base. Simple change out. Remove 3 Philip screws to remove defector. Hold shaft base with needle nose pliers and turn spool base counterclockwise to remove spool base. Reverse steps to assemble back. Having the right tools helps. Spray screw head with WD-40 let sit a few minutes will help loosen dirty old the screw.
