washer stops and say check drain and cycle stops

Hello John, thank you for getting in touch. A “check drain” error on a washing machine indicates a problem with water drainage, which can cause the cycle to stop. The most common causes are a clogged or kinked drain hose, check and clear it. Check the drain pump filter, and clean it. If this does not help, you will need to replace the drain pump, part number PS12731177, to fix the issue. We hope this helps.
I'm just trying to troubleshoot the problem. The machine makes a vacation sound when it drains. I have open the back to inspect the hose from the pump and I didn't find anything. Is it possible for something to be stuck under the ajitator plate

Hi Mark, thank you for your inquiry. Noise during the drain cycle on the washer is caused by a foreign object caught in the drain pump impeller from clothes etc., or a failing drain pump motor. Disconnect the hoses directly from the drain pump and inspect the impeller. Use needle-nose pliers to remove any debris. Try to turn the impeller by hand. If it is hard to turn, wobbly, or damaged, the drain pump, part number PS12731177, needs to be replaced. Glad to be of help!

Hi Jon, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the issue is most probably because of the fault in the bearings. They come attached to the gear case, part number PS16730208. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Pushed in on door strike and rotated it counterclockwise, removed broken strike and installed new strike. NOTE: when removing the old strike (turning counterclockwise) it felt like it might break and/or was attached with an screw that I didn't see but it came right out.
Super easy repair, simply turn the broken door strike counterclockwise to remove; insert the new door strike into the slots and turn clockwise to lock into place.
