My defrost drip pan keeps over flowing every 4 or 5 days . No crack or leaks observed. Can I troubleshoot the fan? To see if it is working?
For model number MSF25D2EAS01
Hello Tom, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the condenser fan motor, part number PS1957416, and ensuring that it is running. It is located near the compressor and should be running when the compressor is running. The condenser fan plays a crucial role in the evaporation of excess water from the defrost drain pan. Also, make sure that there is no excessive ice build-up in the refrigerator. Built-up ice can speed up the defrost cycle and can generate more water than a pan can handle. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
I need the method to reinstall the drip pan. The water filter cartridge assembly is interfering with the clearance I need to put the pan in.

Hello Tom, Thank you for your inquiry. You would need to take off the back panel, disconnect the water inlet valve-you may want to put a towel down to catch any drips, cut the tape that holds the drain pan down at the back of it, then remove the front grill and water filter assembly, cut the second piece of tape from the front of the pan and remove it. We have included a link to our repair video for a similar part to give you a general idea of the procedure. Hope this helps!
Stopped dispensing ice but does dispense water. Now - ice maker producing little ice, not nearly filling the tub but it is producing a small amount. Are the 2 issues related and what parts for repair? Thank you!

Hello Carolyn, Thank you for the question. This could be an indication the Water Inlet Valve is faulty and may need to be replaced. The Valve can be tested with a Multimeter. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. Closely examine your water inlet valve. The exact ohm resistance rating you should test for may be marked on the valve. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
