Hello. How do I remove the freezer drip pan to clean out the mold? How often should I do that? Thanks.

Hello Jim, thank you for reaching out. You can remove the drain pan by following these instructions:
1. Remove all the screws from the back of the refrigerator and pull the cover off.
2. Unscrew and pull the whole water valve assembly out.
3. Disconnect the water lines from the water inlet valve.
4. Reach in and cut the piece of tape that holds the defrost drain pan.
5. Get to the front of the refrigerator, open both doors and take the kick plate off by grabbing and releasing the locking tab on both sides of it.
6. Remove all the screws and pull out the water filter housing.
7. Reach in, cut the piece of tape again from the front and take out the drain pan.
8. After cleaning, install back the pan by reversing the same procedure.
You may clean the drain pan every 2 to 3 months. We hope this information is useful!

Ice machine armature gets stuck in upright position, so ice is not dropping. If I push it down ice dumps into bucket within a couple of mins and refills with water.

I searched the model number for my Whirlpool refrigerator on the internet and partselect.com came up so I clicked on it. The site asked for my model number which I typed in and there it was...a picture of my refrigerator in full detail and very well diagramed and labeled. I found the number of the parts I needed, added them to my cart and paid. Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them. Ice maker now working and air is no longer getting into freezer which was freezing up ice maker. Thanks for timely delivery, now I am able to use ice dispenser, which I haven't used for long time. Thanks
