The compressor doesn't start and I already checked the relay and the PTC sensor and they are good but the compressor doesn't start

Hello Nestor, thank you for reaching out. If the relay and PTC sensor are confirmed good, check for line voltage at the compressor terminals while the unit is calling for cooling. If voltage is present, the most likely culprit is a mechanically seized compressor. This happens when internal pistons or bearings jam due to age or lack of lubrication, causing the motor to hum and trip the overload protector because it cannot physically turn the crankshaft. We suggest checking the compressor, part number PS18151718. We hope this helps!
