error code Fd. does this mean that the switch is Bad. I have tried all the procedures to reset and restart. nothing fixes the problem.

Hi Gary, thank you for reaching out. The FD error code indicates a door lock or water drainage problem. First, check if the door is fully closed and the lock mechanism engages properly. Inspect the drain pump and hose for blockages or kinks that prevent water from draining. If it is fine, you may need to replace the door lock, part number PS18188486.
