A SD code come on and it won't drain and spin dry what wrong?
For model number MHW5630HW2
Hello Patrick, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, this error code indicates excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle, and the washer is running a suds-reduction routine. This could be caused by using too much detergent or not using high-efficiency (HE) detergent. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When SD is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the tumbling and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This pause and rinsing are necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. This could significantly lengthen the time it takes for your washer to complete the cycle. We recommend using HE detergent. Always follow the detergent manufacturer’s instructions to determine the amount of detergent to use and base detergent quantity on load size. If the problem continues and the correct amount and type of detergent are being used, we suggest running a "Clean Washer" cycle to remove any residual detergent that might have built up in the washer. Glad to be of assistance!

Installed a new water pump still no drain the water
For model number MHW5630HW2
Hi Raul, thank you for your inquiry. If a new water pump did not fix your washer drainage issue, the problem is likely a clogged drain hose, a restricted drain line, or a faulty lid switch/door lock preventing the spin/drain cycle. Disconnect the drain hose and check for obstructions. Ensure the hose is not kinked behind the washer. Check the door latch, part number PS16660426. If the machine doesn't detect that the door is closed, it will not initiate the drain or spin cycle. Glad to be of help!
First it was the hot water and now hot and cold, there is no water coming into the machine, have checked for clogs and the hoses.

Hello Jennifer, thank you for getting in touch. According to the description of the issue, the problem could be with the water inlet valve, part number PS17216730. If your washer has no water filling (both hot and cold), the likely causes are a faulty water inlet valve solenoid. You may need to replace the water inlet valve to fix the issue. We hope this helps.
Using the Torx Screwdriver, we removed the door from the unit. Then we removed all of the screws on the inside of the washer door. After that we flipped it over and opened it up exposing the inside. We couldn't separate them entirely because there was a screw under the latch piece that we couldn't figure out how to get to. However with all the screws out on the inside of the door, we did have enough room to open it up and access the place cover that holds the hinges in. Once we accessed that we removed the roller tips from the old unit and placed them on the new one. Then we reversed the process. With a couple screws in we realized we had put the hinge in reversed from what it needed to be, so we reopened it and switched it around. Then completed replacing all the screws and reattached it to the washer. It opens and closes perfectly and we saved a couple hundred dollars for sure, as the quote to come out had been a $150 trip charge.
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Replaced the Whirlpool washer water inlet valve. 1. Unplug washer 2. Close Hot and Cold water valves 3. Remove top cover of the machine by taking out 3 screws in the top back. Slide top back and remove. 4. Water Inlet Valve is located on the back left side, remove tubing using a nutdriver to loosen the hose clamps. 5. Water Inlet Valve is removed by removing the screw in the back of the valve and turning the valve clockwise a little. Replace with the new one, connect hoses, put cover back on, open valves, plug it in. 6. Ran washer and Fabric Softener dispenser now works
