how do I change the light bulb socket ?

Hi Bruce, thank you for reaching out. Remove the 2 outer vent grille mounting screws located above the cover. Tip the grille forward, then lift out to remove. Lift up the bulb cover. Remove the bulb and you will have access to the light socket and housing. They are often secure in by a single screw, remove it and replace the socket assembly with a new one. We hope this helps.
