The refrigerator stopped cooling and freezing. Lights are still on inside. Water dispenser does not work and no lights (unless hold buttons down.)

Hi Kate,
Thank you for your question. If the refrigerator and freezer sections are too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the capacitor, the compressor start relay and the condenser fan motor. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The fridge and freezer are not cold. When you push any buttons or ice/water dispenser all the lights on the door control panel light up. The ice maker stopped working 6 months ago too. The light inside works.

Hello Kimberly, thank you for your question. If your fridge and freezer are not cold, it is recommended that the run capacitor be replaced. This run capacitor is part number PS11757023. The issue with your dispenser front panel would more than likely stem from a dispenser control board issue, which is no longer available per the manufacturer. There are no part substitutions for this part listed in any system we have available. Our suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for this part number. We hope this helps.

Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.
I knew the chances of all the freon leaking out was unlikely so I looked at the wiring to the compressor and there was a capacitor and a starter/overload so i figured I would start there. I went on line and found the parts at this site and they were less than the minimum service call charge for a service tech so I figured what the heck let's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!
Removed the fruit & veggie drawers & the deli (pantry) drawer. Took out the 3 screws, removed the attached parts, put them on the replacement part, reattached it and put the drawers back in.
Here's the part I want to share: PartSelect had a expanded diagram showing the correct part and sufficiently detailed to figure out the repair before the part arrived. That's why I ordered from them. Secondly, I ordered the part Thursday morning--and the thing was sitting on my porch when I came back in from my evening out Saturday--2 days later!!!
